The Course at Yale Today, the Yale Golf Course is recognized as one of the finest examples of early American golf course design. Large deeply bunkered greens and narrow rolling fairways are the core of Yale's penalizing character. In 1988, Golf Magazine ranked Yale as 71st among the 100 most difficult courses in the world. Many recognize the layout as the best collegiate course in the nation. Two of the holes- the 432-yard par-4 fourth and the 238-yard par-3 ninth - have been ranked among the 100 most difficult holes. The Yale course has been the site of every significant state championship, two USGA Junior National events, the 1991 NCAA Eastern Regional championships, the 1991 ECAC Men's Championship, and the 1992 ECAC Women's Championship. During the NCAA tourney, only 21 subpar rounds were recorded of the 360 played during the three days. The course has also been the home of the Nike Connecticut Open. New London Country Club Since 1925, our focus at New London Country Club has always been the game of golf. That love of the game is reflected in our magnificent Par-71, 18-hole layout that has been chosen to host PGA sectional and Connecticut State Golf Association events. The greens are generally considered to be the most important feature of New London Country Club; their design and playability are of utmost importance to the desirability of the course. The 18-hole "Woodbridge" course at the The Country Club of Woodbridge facility in Woodbridge, Connecticut features 6,550 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71 . The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 129. Designed by Orrin E. Smith, the Woodbridge golf course opened in 2009.

Country Club of Orange Park This club is considered by its personnel to have some of the best greens in the state of Florida. Water hazards come into play on fourteen of the eighteen holes. Players may only walk the course after 4 PM. Rock Barn Golf & Spa - Jackson Course Rock Barn Golf and Spa, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains features 36 holes of award-winning golf. The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Course, a recipient for multiple awards and honors is ranked 19th in the state by North Carolina Magazine. Woodland Valley Country Club Woodland Valley Country Club is set in the lowcountry woodlands just outside of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The golf course is a modern Russell Breeden design.
